Recently some friends at work were speaking about works they were having done at thier homes. As a group, we all have high expectations of results.

I was looking for a painter. I wanted to update colours and maintain our 7 year old home. My friends said that her Daughter was having her home painted at the moment and that Adsum Colour was recommended to her from another friend, She was however not going to pass on his details untill work was completed and she was satisfied, a week later i was passed on Jason's Business card with the comment that her Daughter was very happy with the work completed, the time frame and the price.

I called Jason; He spoke very pleasntly and was able to come to see my home at a time that suited both of us. I recall Jason being focused and very informative to any questions i had and received the quote a couple of days later. I was very pleased and felt the price was very reasonable. It included all the paint, Patch ups, Clean up and was no extra to do a couple of Feature walls.

When the time came close to painting, i had not finalised on colours, I really wanted a red wall but couldnt get the right shade.

I gave Jason a call telling him of my issue, and he was more than glad to come over and have a look. He was very patient and freindly. He gave me advice and opinions of what i should avoid, How popular a colour was and his past experince proved very helpful. I really thought that i could count on him with what i wanted. Trusting Jason meant that his team would also be good aswell.

The job took 5 days from start to finish and they arrived promptly each morning, Set up and cleaned up after themselves each day so as not to inconvenience me more than necessary. They moved all the furniture and even put it all back when they were done. When i asked for a slight colour change to a skirting Board ending on a Feature wall, Jason was more than happy and said he would change it back to the original colour if it didnt look quite right.

Overall its a gamble when you take some one on for a job, whether it be some one you know or not. I had a referall, but only when i saw a start to the work did i feel really confident. I was trully happy with the completed work, Mood of my now new home, and feel very confident to Recommend Adsum Colour to any one considering a paint job for thier home.
